Project Objective

This project aims to enhance business processes and strengthen integration to improve operational efficiency, while promoting global digital transformation (DX). Through these efforts, we seek to efficiently develop and deliver high-value new products and services for our customers—medical institutions worldwide.

Challenges

SAP ECC 6.0, an ERP solution widely used by large enterprises around the world as a core system package, will reach the end of its mainstream maintenance support at the end of 2027 (the so-called “SAP 2027 issue”). In addition, the number of engineers capable of maintaining existing legacy systems is declining, making system operations increasingly difficult and reducing the ability to respond flexibly to changes in the business environment and to create new business opportunities.

Our Role

ARK participates in the global template rollout project (SAP S/4HANA) for Japan. From a financial accounting perspective, we define business and system requirements and provide comprehensive support for building the core system through project management activities, including schedule management, quality management, and issue and risk management.
